Thank you for visiting my web site! My name is Zadie and I am a 4th year Vet student in london.
This site is dedicated to my African Pygmy Hedgehogs, I currently own 4, the first is a male that goes by the name of Igel, well his registered name is Angelzoom, however that was a bit of a mouthfull so I nicknamed him Igel (German for hedgehog!).
My next addition is a beautiful albino female that goes by the name of Ivy - her registered name is Ivory Snow, she is still settling in with me (she was originally called Farley, however we made the decision to change this : theres not much difference in the 2 names)
I recently acquired 2 more of these beautiful hoggies, they are a wonderful slightly huffy grey called Spicy Branston and a fantastic laid back albino called Snow White, I want to change this to Royal Icing though (sugar and spice). I fell in love with the grey and the albino came along with her as they are sisters and live together anyway.
I first found out about these wonderful creatures from a friend at university and since then have fallen in love with them, they are unusual pets, they are definatly not the average animal and not really suitable for young children unless very tame! They are nocturnal pets and prefer a fairly quite environment!
Throughout the site I intend to provide you all with some information on these wonderful creatures!
